Establishing ProjectWise Access for External Customers

Each individual in a firm must have their own ProjectWise account. Sharing a ProjectWise account is a Commonwealth of Virginia security violation and is not allowed. Each individual will need to follow the process to get a ProjectWise account.  Two forms are required to access VDOT’s ProjectWise.  The password and account is separate and controlled by Bentley.  You must be logged into Bentley to access VDOT ProjectWise documents.
   

Consultant Access

To establish ProjectWise, access a federated Bentley IMS account will need to be created. The following forms will need to be completed and emailed to Design Technologies. You will only need a COV domain account if ProjectWise CII access is required.

Contractor Access

To establish ProjectWise access, an account will be created. The following forms will need to be completed and emailed to Design Technologies. Information on logical accounts can be found at http://www.virginiadot.org/business/locdes/pwcontractorpage.asp.
If a contractor needs access to ProjectWise CII, then the process will follow that of a consultant.
