Disability
VDOT provides short- and long-term disability benefits at no cost. There's a one-year waiting period for new hires and re-hires. This program is administered by the Virginia Retirement System (VRS).

Employees participate in a state retirement plan with options for tax-deferred retirement savings, including employer matching.
