In Design: FRED Transit Bus Shelters and Benches

This project will install at least 25 bus shelters and benches throughout the FRED Transit system.Site decisions have not been made but will be made based on criteria such as stop usage, location, accessibility and easement.

 

Benefits 

The benches and shelters will enhance customer service and provide a safe location for customers to wait for the buses. The project will improve customer comfort and convenience to encourage non-riders to become riders. The project is aimed to induce ridership and reduce roadway congestion.
