Studies: Route 17 Project Pipeline Study, Main Street to Hillside Drive

The Project Pipeline program is studying Route 17 between Main Street and Hillside Drive in Gloucester County. 

Using innovative solutions, the study seeks to develop potential recommendations to improve safety, operations, access and bicyclist and pedestrian features in the targeted areas.

An online survey was conducted February 28-March 14, 2022 to gather public feedback.

Project Pipeline is a partnership between VDOT, the Virginia Department of Rail and Public Transportation, and the Office of Intermodal Planning and Investment.

The study began in August 2021 and will be complete in July 2022.
