Studies: Route 3 Project Pipeline Study: Carl D. Silver Parkway to Andora Drive

The Project Pipeline program is studying Route 3 between Carl D. Silver Parkway in the City of Fredericksburg and Andora Drive in Spotsylvania County.

Using innovative solutions, the study seeks to develop potential recommendations to improve safety, operations, access and bicyclist and pedestrian features in the targeted areas.

An online survey was conducted February 28-March 14, 2022 to gather public feedback.

Project Pipeline is a partnership between VDOT, the Virginia Department of Rail and Public Transportation, and the Office of Intermodal Planning and Investment. 

The study began in August 2021 and will be complete in July 2022.
