Under Construction: 

The project will improve safety at the Route 610 (Old Plank Road) and Ashleigh Park Boulevard intersection in Spotsylvania County.

Crews will reconstruct the westbound right turn lane on Old Plank Road to Ashleigh Park Boulevard to improve sight distance.

The nearly $900,000 project will also improve drainage at the intersection, build new sidewalk with a handicap-accessible ramp, install new signs and pavement markings.

Crews will be working Mondays through Fridays. All travel lanes will be open during peak morning and afternoon hours on weekdays. Single lane closures will be scheduled during daytime and overnight hours. Periodic weekend work may also be needed.

The intersection improvement project is anticipated to be complete in July 2022.

The project contractor is M & F Concrete Inc., of Manassas.
