In Design: Laxton Road & Bee Drive Sidewalk Project, Campbell County

VDOT plans to construct a sidewalk along Laxton Rd (Route 1520) and Bee Drive (Route 9070). The 5-foot-wide sidewalk is also planned to serve to connect sidewalks between the city of Lynchburg and Campbell County. This will connect Laxton Rd (Route 1520) between Enterprise Drive and Timberlake and Bee Drive (Route 9070).

Benefits 

The project will improve safety and connectivity by providing Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)-compliant sidewalk and pedestrian facilities in the vicinity of Brookville High School, Brookville Middle School, and Tomahawk Elementary School.
