Description
This STARS (Strategically Targeted Affordable Roadway Solutions) study is assessing potential operational and safety improvements for the five-mile West Broad Street corridor between Hockett Road in Goochland County and the I-64 interchange in Henrico County.
West Broad Street experiences heavy congestion during weekday commute times and on weekends because of adjacent residential and commercial activity centers. The study corridor east of Pouncey Tract Road averages over 75,000 vehicles per day.
