Studies: Route 8 Corridor Study

The study took place on a nine-mile section of Route 8 from Interstate 81 at exit 114 to Route 863 (River Lane NW) in Montgomery County and the Town of Christiansburg.

The study focused on operations, access management and safety. It developed alternatives and recommendations for transportation improvements based on traffic projections through the year 2035.
