Policies and Procedures
The Policy and Procedures Section is responsible for researching, developing and managing the content and delivery of the Road Design Manual, L&D Instructional & Informational Memoranda (IIM), L&D Forms, Public Involvement Manual, Drainage Manual, Traffic Design Manual, and Survey Manual as they relate to the current Road and Bridge Standards and Specifications. The L&D Technical Library is maintained by this section.
This section ensures timely delivery of all Division policies, procedures and technical directives through coordination with technical experts throughout the Department and oversight of the impact that changes in one document have on other documents. This section communicates and works with the Districts and FHWA staff with regard to Division policies.
