VDOT sets public hearing for Route 89 realignment in Grayson County

BRISTOL—This month, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will hold a design public meeting for the proposed realignment of Route 89 at its intersection with Route 613 in Grayson County.

The open house format public meeting will take place Thursday, September 30 from 4 – 6 p.m. at Fairview Ruritan Club, located at 2265 Fairview Road in Galax. VDOT will follow current COVID-19 precautions to ensure the health and safety of attendees. The project website includes the same information, materials and presentations that will be available at the public hearing: https://www.virginiadot.org/route89graysoncounty .
