MERRY POINT FERRY IN LANCASTER COUNTY OUT OF SERVICE FOR REPAIRS
Ferry service has been suspended until further notice for engine repairs
FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Service on the Merry Point Ferry in Lancaster County has been suspended until further notice.
The ferry vessel's engine requires repairs. Travelers are encouraged to check 511Virginia for real-time information on the ferry’s operational status.
The Merry Point Ferry is a free ferry service operated by the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT). Located on scenic byway Route 604 (Merry Point Road and Ottoman Ferry Road), it crosses the western end of the Corrotoman River.
