MERRY POINT FERRY RESUMES SERVICE ON WEDNESDAY, MAY 22
Crews have finished repairs to ferry vessel's engine; Ferry service will resume at 7 a.m. tomorrow
FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Service on the Merry Point Ferry in Lancaster County will resume at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, May 22.
The ferry has been out of service since May 2 for repairs to the vessel's engine.
The Merry Point Ferry is a free ferry service operated by the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT). Located on scenic byway Route 604 (Merry Point Road and Ottoman Ferry Road), it crosses the western end of the Corrotoman River.
