ROUTE 360 CLOSED IN RICHMOND COUNTY FOR CRASH, DOWNED UTILITY LINES
Road may be closed for extended period; Motorists should follow detour route and avoid area

3 P.M. UPDATE: All lanes of Route 360 are now open in Richmond County. The detour has been lifted. 

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – All lanes on Route 360 (Richmond Highway) in Richmond County are closed near Cole Hill Lane for a vehicle crash involving downed power lines.

Utility crews are on scene for repairs, but Route 360 may be closed for an extended period. Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) crews are on scene to assist with traffic control. Motorists are encouraged to allow extra travel time and follow the recommended detour routes for their vehicle type:

Detour route for passenger vehicles:

·         Route 620 (Richmond Hill Road)

·         Route 3

Detour route for tractor-trailers and other large trucks:

·         Route 620 (Threeway Road)

·         Route 203 (Oldhams Road)
