JOHNVILLE ROAD IN ESSEX COUNTY CLOSES MONDAY, FEB. 3 FOR PIPE REPLACEMENT
Traffic is anticipated to be detoured for a week as crews install new drainage pipe

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – A portion of Route 611 (Johnville Road) in Essex County will be closed to through traffic next week for replacement of a drainage pipe.

Johnville Road will be closed just south of the intersection with Route 655 (Vineyard Road) on Monday, Feb. 3 through Friday, Feb. 7, weather permitting.

Motorists should use the posted detour route along Route 610 (Boston Road).

An average of 480 vehicles travel on Johnville Road in this area, according to a recent Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) traffic count.
