LORD DELAWARE BRIDGE INSPECTION TO BEGIN MONDAY, MAY 4
Drivers will encounter daytime single lane closures for two weeks on the Route 33 bridge over the Mattaponi River in King William County

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) has scheduled a routine bridge inspection for the Lord Delaware Bridge, beginning Monday, May 4.

The Lord Delaware Bridge is located on Route 33 in King William County and crosses the Mattaponi River, just north of the Town of West Point.

Drivers will encounter alternating single lane closures on the bridge on weekdays between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily through Friday, May 15.

No lane closures are scheduled for Saturday, May 9 or Sunday, May 10.
