NEW TRAFFIC SIGNAL ACTIVATED TODAY ON MINE ROAD IN STAFFORD COUNTY
Signal at the intersection of Mine Road, Sunflower Drive and the Jeff Rouse Swim and Sport Center is in flash mode, and will go into full color operation on Thursday, Dec. 17
FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – A new traffic signal installed at the intersection of Mine Road and Sunflower Drive in Stafford County has been activated, and is currently operating in flash mode.
To allow motorists time to adjust to the presence of the new traffic signal, it will continue to flash through Thursday, Dec. 17.
The traffic signal will go into full color operation between 9 a.m. and noon on Thursday, weather permitting.
The new traffic signal was funded and installed under permit as part of private development. The signal is located on Mine Road at its intersection with the Jeff Rouse Swim and Sport Center and a commercial shopping center with a Publix grocery store.
Drivers are encouraged to be alert to the change in traffic pattern at the intersection.
