ROUTE 3 CLOSED IN WESTMORELAND COUNTY
All lanes are closed near Johnson Town Road; Detour is in place
UPDATE (6 a.m. ) - Route 3 has reopened to traffic in Westmoreland County near Johnson Town Road. The detour has been lifted.
FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Route 3 is closed in Westmoreland County near the Johnson Town Road intersection due to a vehicle crash involving a downed tree and utility lines.
Route 3 travelers, eastbound and westbound, are being detoured around the road closure using the following routes:
Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) crews are on scene to assist with traffic control and the detour route.
- Route 214 (Stratford Hall)
- Route 644 (Wild Sally Road)
- Route 622 (Panorama Road)
