LANE CLOSURES ON ROUTE 1, ROUTE 17 NEAR FALMOUTH INTERSECTION
Northbound Route 1 is closed at the Falmouth intersection in Stafford County, and Route 17 southbound is closed at Olde Forge Drive

7:35 P.M. UPDATE: Route 1 northbound, Route 17 (Warrenton Road) southbound, and Lendall Lane in Stafford County have reopened to traffic.

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Several primary roads in the Falmouth area of Stafford County are partially closed for law enforcement activity.

Southbound Route 17 Business (Warrenton Road) is closed at Olde Forge Drive.

Northbound Route 1 is closed at the intersection with Route 17 Business (Warrenton Road).

Lendall Lane is closed at the intersection with Route 17 Business (Warrenton Road).

Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes.

Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) crews are traveling to the scene to assist with traffic control.
