I-95 SOUTHBOUND CLOSED IN STAFFORD COUNTY
All southbound traffic is being detoured to exit 136 (Centreport Parkway) to Route 1 after tractor-trailer overturned, caught fire

10:59 a.m. UPDATE: All lanes on I-95 southbound near exit 136 (Centreport Parkway) in Stafford County are now open and the detour has been lifted following the crash. Southbound travelers may experience residual delays on I-95, Route 1 and arterial routes.

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Interstate 95 southbound is closed near exit 136 (Centreport Parkway) in Stafford County after a tractor-trailer truck overturned then caught fire.

All southbound traffic is being detoured at exit 136 then to Route 1.

Drivers are being directed to Route 1 southbound to Route 17 Business (Warrenton Road) and can re-enter I-95 southbound at the exit 133 (Route 17) interchange.

There is no re-opening time available.

Motorists should anticipate delays.
