I-95 SOUTHBOUND CLOSED IN STAFFORD COUNTY
All I-95 southbound traffic is being detoured to exit 140 (Courthouse Road) to Route 1

7:59 a.m. UPDATE: I-95 southbound is now open near exit 140 (Courthouse Road) in Stafford County following tractor-trailer crash. Expect residual delays on I-95 southbound and Route 1.

Saturday, July 2 6:25 a.m. UPDATE: One lane on I-95 southbound is now open near exit 140 (Courthouse Road) following a tractor-trailer crash. Detour has been lifted. Expect residual delays.

FREDERICKSBURG, Va.  Interstate 95 southbound is closed in Stafford County near exit 140 (Courthouse Road), at mile marker 139, for a tractor-trailer crash.

All I-95 southbound traffic is being detoured at exit 140 to Hospital Center Boulevard to Route 1 southbound then re-enter I-95 southbound at Centreport Parkway at exit 136.

No re-opening time is available.

There’s approximately 4 miles of congestion.

Southbound travelers are advised to expect major southbound travel delays in the Fredericksburg area.
