EXPECT DELAYS ON WESTBOUND ROUTE 208 (COURTHOUSE ROAD) IN SPOTSYLVANIA
Emergency water system repair has closed a single lane of westbound Courthouse Road near Millgarden Drive

7:40 a.m. Friday, Oct. 20 UPDATEAll lanes on Route 208 (Courthouse Road) in Spotsylvania are open after repairs to the water system were completed overnight.

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Westbound Route 208 (Courthouse Road) in Spotsylvania County has been reduced to a single lane near the Millgarden Drive intersection for an emergency water system repair.

Millgarden Drive intersects with Courthouse Road west of the Route 639 (Leavells Road) intersection. Spotsylvania County utility crews are on site repairing a failed water valve.

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) is adjusting traffic signal timing along the Courthouse Road corridor to optimize westbound traffic flow during this work zone.
