FIRE DAMAGES TRAFFIC SIGNALS ON ROUTE 208 (COURTHOUSE ROAD) AT MILLGARDEN DRIVE IN SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY
Expect delays near the intersection as crews direct traffic until further notice
5:15 p.m. FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Crews with the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will be directing traffic through the Route 208 (Courthouse Road) and Millgarden Drive intersection in Spotsylvania County until further notice after a fire damaged the traffic signals.
Currently, the traffic signals at the Route 208 and Millgarden Drive intersection are the only ones out of service.
VDOT will need to assess the damage to the signals, cables and poles before determining repair plans or reactivation.
