I-95 NORTHBOUND CLOSED IN STAFFORD
All northbound lanes closed at mile marker 146 before exit 148 (Quanitco) for multiple vehicle crash; Traffic detours at exit 143 (Aquia/Garrisonville) to Route 1 as alternate route

UPDATE (6:15 a.m.): A single I-95 northbound lane has reopened at mile marker 146 before exit 148 (Quantico). Two lanes remain closed. Travelers can expect significant delays.

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Interstate 95 northbound is closed at mile marker 146 before exit 148 (Quantico) in Stafford County due to a multiple vehicle crash.

Northbound traffic is being detoured from I-95 at exit 143 (Aquia/Garrisonville) onto Route 1.

Interstate travelers can travel along Route 1 northbound to re-enter I-95 northbound at exit 148 (Quantico).

Motorists can expect travel delays on I-95, Route 1 northbound in Stafford, and on intersecting routes in this area.
