I-95 SOUTHBOUND REST AREA AT LADYSMITH TO USE TEMPORARY RESTROOM FACILITIES SEPT. 12-13
Rest area building and parking will remain open as utility crews perform maintenance repairs to the water system over two days
FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Maintenance repairs to the water system at the Interstate 95 southbound Ladysmith Safety Rest Area in Caroline County will require use of temporary restroom facilities on Tuesday, Sept. 12, and Wednesday, Sept. 13.
The rest area will remain open at all times, to include parking. However, water fountains will not operate on these two days.
Temporary facilities will include handwashing stations and accessible restrooms.
The I-95 southbound Ladysmith rest area is located at mile marker 107, south of exit 110 (Ladysmith).
Message boards are positioned along I-95 southbound in advance of the rest area to alert travelers that only temporary restroom facilities are available on Sept. 12-13.
