PUBLIC INVITED TO COMMENT ON PROPOSED ROUTE 360 ROAD DIET IN TOWN OF WARSAW
Take the online survey through April 28, or join us for an in-person public hearing from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 18 at 150 Court Circle in Warsaw
FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – The public is invited to learn more and comment on a proposed project to modify the traffic pattern on Route 360 (Richmond Road) in the Town of Warsaw in Richmond County.
A new traffic pattern is proposed for two sections of Route 360, from the divided roadway west of Route 1019 (Gordon Lane) to west of Route 3 Business (Main Street), and east of Route 3 Business (Main Street) to Route 3 (History Land Highway).
At each location, a road diet would restripe the existing four-lane road. The new pattern would have one lane for through travel in each direction, and a two-way left turn lane in the center. The change is intended to reduce crashes, especially rear-end, left-turn and angle crashes.
An in-person design public hearing on this project will be held:
Tuesday, April 18, 2023*
5-7 p.m.
150 Court Circle
Warsaw, Virginia 22572
*Inclement weather date: Tuesday, April 25, 2023
Stop by the public hearing anytime between 5-7 p.m. to review displays and proposed design plans, and discuss questions with Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) staff.
A brief presentation will be delivered at 5 p.m. The remainder of the hearing will be held in an open house format.
The public can view project materials and submit comments using an online survey form.
