ROUTE 1 CLOSED IN SPOTSYLVANIA
All northbound and southbound lanes are closed near Arcadia Road intersection, south of Route 606 (Morris Road/Mudd Tavern Road) in the Thornburg area
FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Route 1 is closed in both directions in Spotsylvania County for a vehicle crash near the Arcadia Road intersection.
The closure is located in the Thornburg area, south of Route 606 (Morris Road/Mudd Tavern Road).
Route 1 travelers should access Interstate 95 from interchanges at exit 118 (Thornburg) and 110 (Ladysmith) to travel north and south in this area. Message boards are being posted by VDOT crews to alert travelers to the road closure.
