ROUTE 1 NORTHBOUND CLOSED IN STAFFORD
Northbound Route 1 traffic detours at Route 8900 (Centreport Parkway), where motorists can access Interstate 95 northbound as an alternate route
FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Route 1 northbound is closed at the intersection of Route 628 (American Legion Road/Eskimo Hill Road) in Stafford County for a vehicle crash.
Northbound Route 1 traffic is being detoured at Route 8900 (Centreport Parkway), where through travelers can enter I-95 northbound and travel to exit 140 (Courthouse Road), travel east on Route 630 (Courthouse Road/Hospital Center Boulevard), and rejoin Route 1 northbound.
Route 1 southbound is reduced to a single lane at the American Legion Road/Eskimo Hill Road intersection.
Route 1 northbound is anticipated to be closed for an extended period.
