HAMPTON ROADS WEEKLY LANE CLOSURES REPORT JUNE 11-17
Closures on Water Crossings, Interstates, and Other Notable Detours
NOTE: This list covers full closures of interstates, ramps, bridges and primary roads, and lane closures at the bridge-tunnels and the Berkley, Coleman, High Rise and James River bridges.
*Scheduled closures are subject to change based on weather conditions and other factors.*

Bridge and Tunnels:
Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel, I-64:
- Mobile, single-lane closure westbound June 13 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- Alternating, single-lane closures eastbound June 14-15 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Monitor-Merrimac Memorial Bridge-Tunnel, I-664:
- Alternating, mobile, single-lane closures northbound June 13 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Alternating, single-lane closures southbound June 12 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Berkley Bridge, I-264:
- Double-lane closure eastbound, with full closure of the off-ramp to Waterside Drive/St. Paul’s Boulevard (exit 9) June 15-16 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
James River Bridge, Route 17:
- Alternating, mobile, single-lane closures southbound June 11 and June 13-15 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- Alternating, mobile, single-lane closures northbound June 11-15 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- Single-lane closure southbound June 12-13 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Elizabeth River Tunnels (Downtown/Midtown Tunnels):
- Go to Elizabeth River Tunnels for maintenance schedules on the Downtown Tunnel (I-264), Midtown Tunnel (U.S. 58) and MLK Expressway (Route 164).
I-64, Southside Widening, High Rise Bridge Expansion:

I-64, Express Lanes:
- Full closure in both directions:
- June 11-15 from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m.
- June 14-15 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
I-64, Chesapeake:
- Slow rolls on I-64 east near the I-264 interchange June 12-15 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
I-64, James City County:
- Full, alternating closures of the following ramps June 11-17 from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.:
- Off-ramp from I-64 east to Old Stage Road (exit 227)
- On-ramp from Old Stage Road to I-64 east
- Off-ramp from I-64 east to Croaker Road (exit 231B)
- On-ramp from Croaker Road to I-64 east
I-64, Newport News:
- Slow rolls with stoppages of up to 15 minutes on I-64 in both directions near J. Clyde Morris Boulevard (exit 258) June 13-15 from 12:01-4 a.m. due to utility work by Dominion Energy.
- Slow rolls with stoppages of up to 20 minutes on I-64 east near Denbigh Boulevard June 14-16 from 1 a.m. until as late as 7 a.m.
I-264, Virginia Beach:
- Full closure of the off-ramp from I-264 east to Independence Boulevard north (exit 17B) June 12-15 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- Full closure of the on-ramp from Independence Boulevard north to I-264 west June 12-15 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Other Notable Closures:
- Overnight closure of the signalized intersection from Laskin Road into Hilltop Plaza Shopping Center in Virginia Beach on June 11 from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- Slow rolls on Route 60 in both directions from Ironbound Road to Stratford Road in James City County June 12-15 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. due to utility work by Dominion Energy.
- Slow rolls on Mooretown Road in both directions at Route 60 in James City County June 12-15 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. due to utility work by Dominion Energy.
- Slow rolls on Waller Mill Road in both directions at Plantation Drive in York County June 12-15 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. due to utility work by Dominion Energy.
