HAMPTON ROADS WEEKLY LANE CLOSURES REPORT OCTOBER 15-21
Closures on Water Crossings, Interstates, and Other Notable Detours
NOTE: This list covers full closures of interstates, ramps, bridges and primary roads, and lane closures at the bridge-tunnels and the Berkley, Coleman, High Rise and James River bridges.
*Scheduled closures are subject to change based on weather conditions and other factors.*

Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel, I-64:
- Single-lane closures eastbound Oct. 16 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- Alternating, single-lane closures westbound Oct. 17-19 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Monitor-Merrimac Memorial Bridge-Tunnel, I-664:
- Alternating, single-lane closures northbound Oct. 15-19 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- Alternating, mobile, single-lane closures southbound Oct. 17 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Berkley Bridge, I-264:
- Alternating, mobile, single-lane closures in both directions Oct. 21-22 from 6 a.m. to as late as 10 a.m.
- Alternating, mobile, single-lane closure on I-464 north at the bridge Oct. 15 and Oct. 21 from 6-10 a.m.
High Rise Bridge, I-64:
- Single-lane closures eastbound Oct. 16-17 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
James River Bridge, Route 17:
- Single-lane closures southbound Oct. 16 and Oct. 18-19 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Mobile, single-lane closures southbound Oct. 17-19 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Elizabeth River Tunnels (Downtown/Midtown Tunnels):
- Go to Elizabeth River Tunnels for maintenance schedules on the Downtown Tunnel (I-264), Midtown Tunnel (U.S. 58) and MLK Expressway (Route 164).

Hampton:
- Long-term, continuous single-lane closure on I-64 in both directions, reducing travel lanes from three to two lanes between Settlers Landing Road/Woodland Road (exit 267) and LaSalle Avenue (exit 265), with I-64 west traffic shifted to the I-64 east lanes. View the full traffic alert here.
Norfolk, Reversible Roadway:
- Full closure in both directions Oct. 18-19 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
I-564, Norfolk:
- Full closure of the off-ramp from I-564 east to Granby Street Oct. 9-12 from 7 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
I-95, Sussex County:
- Full closure of the on- and off-ramps to/from I-95 south and Route 645 (exit 24) Oct. 17-18 from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m.
- Full closure of the on- and off-ramps to/from I-95 south and Route 602 (exit 33) Oct. 19 from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Other Notable Closures:
Route 17, York County:
- Brief, intermittent stoppages on Route 17 in both directions between Matthews Street to Goosley Road Oct. 15-18 from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m.
