ROUTE 639 (ROCK BRIDGE ROAD) BRIDGE WORK COMPLETED IN GREENSVILLE COUNTY
Route 639 open to traffic; detour lifted.
GREENSVILLE COUNTY – As of June 5, a portion of Route 639 (Rock Bridge Road) over I-95 in Greensville County is open to traffic following the completion of repairs to the bridge overpass.
Contractor crews working for the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) began work on the Route 639 overpass in April to complete placement of latex modified concrete on the bridge deck over I-95, extending its lifespan.
