Public Information Meeting Date Set for Route 460/29 Arterial Management Plan
Public invited to learn more about potential investments along Campbell County corridor
LYNCHBURG —The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will hold a Citizen Information Meeting on October 29, 2019 to present the concepts and strategies for potential corridor improvements on the Route 460/29 corridor in Campbell County that will enhance safety and capacity along the corridor while balancing the needs of economic development and access management.
The meeting will be held at VDOT’s Ramey Memorial Auditorium, 4303 Campbell Avenue, Lynchburg VA 24501 from 4 pm to 6 pm. The purpose of the meeting is to give citizens an opportunity to learn more about the plan, meet with VDOT representatives and provide input. This meeting will be held in open-house format and no formal presentations will be made.
Citizens may provide oral and written comments at the meeting or submit them by November 8, to Rick Youngblood VDOT District Planner, 4219 Campbell Ave., Lynchburg, VA 24501 or via email to rick.youngblood@VDOT.Virginia.gov.
