ROUTE 311 PUBLIC HEARING SCHEDULED

LYNCHBURG – A Location Public Hearing on the Route 311 Connector Road in Pittsylvania County has been scheduled. The hearing will be held on Thursday, June 6 from 4-6 pm at the Brosville Elementary School Gymnasium, 195 Bulldog Lane, Danville.

The public can find out about plans to construct a connector road extending from the existing interchange at Oak Ridge Farms Road (Route 1260) and the Danville Expressway (US 58) west to tie in with Berry Hill Road (Route 311).

The hearing will be held in an “open house” format and VDOT representatives will be present to answer questions. Project information, including property impacts and tentative construction schedules will be available for review.

Written or oral comments may be given at the hearing or submitted by June 16 to Raina Rosado, P.E., project manager, at Virginia Department of Transportation, 4219 Campbell Avenue, Lynchburg, VA 24501 or by email to Raina.Rosado@vdot.virginia.gov. In case of inclement weather, the hearing will be held on Tuesday, June 11 at the same location and time
