Road Closing on Route 652 in Amherst County
For Culvert Replacement Project
LYNCHBURG – Motorists should expect delays due to a culvert replacement project on Route 652 in Amherst County. Route 652 (Cedar Gate Road) will be temporarily closed from Route 657 (Cedar Gate Road) to Route 675 (Winesap Road). This road closure is scheduled to begin July 18th, 2022 and is planned to last until September 9th, 2022.
The Department of Transportation will provide adequate signs for the closure and detour of this portion of Route 652, and will use Route 657 (Cedar Gate Road), to Route 29 Business (S. Amherst Hwy), to Route 675 (Winesap Road) back to Route 652 (Cedar Gate Road).
