ROAD CLOSING ON ROUTE 670 (DEER VIEW ROAD) IN PITTSYLVANIA COUNTY
Due to Culvert Replacement
Lynchburg, Va. – Motorists should expect delays due to a culvert replacement on Route 670 in Pittsylvania County. Route 670 (Deer View Road) will be closed to through traffic from Route 642 (Scott Jacobs Memorial Dr.), to the intersection of Route 671 (Midway Road). This section of Route 670 will be closed from December 5, 2022 – January 20, 2023.
The Department of Transportation will provide adequate signs for the closure and detour. The detour will use Route 642 (Scott Jacobs Memorial Dr.) to Route 646 (Spring Rd) to Route 634 (Blue Ridge Dr.) to Route 671 (Midway Rd.) back to Route 670 (Deer View Rd). See map below.
