Road Work/Detour Candlers Mountain Road Ramp to Route 460 West in Lynchburg 10/25-10/26

LYNCHBURG, Va. – VDOT crews will address some erosion at the Candlers Mountain Road on ramp to Route 460 West in Lynchburg.
This work will shore up the road and prevent further damage from occurring.The repair will require the temporary closure of the ramp from Candlers Mountain Road to Route 460 West.
The work will take place from 7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 25 to 7 a.m. on Thursday, October 26.A detour will be in place, sending traffic south on Candlers Mountain Road prior to the ramp and connecting with Route 460 West at Evans Boulevard (See Map.)
Signs will be in place to alert motorists of the temporary traffic pattern adjustment.
