LYNCHBURG, Va. - Motorists should expect delays due to a pipe replacement on Route 642 in Pittsylvania County, beginning 4/17/2023 and lasting until 4/28/2023 from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day. The Department of Transportation will provide adequate signs for the closure and detour of this portion of Route 642 using Route 642 (Scott Jacobs Memorial Dr.), Route 670 (Deer View Rd.), Route 685 (Telegraph Rd.), and Route 646 (Spring Rd.)
