SECTION OF ROUTE 660 (OXFORD FURNACE ROAD) TO CLOSE IN CAMPBELL COUNTY ON 8/2
The road will reopen at 7 p.m., weather permitting
A section of Route 660 will close on Wednesday, 8/2 in Campbell County
LYNCHBURG, Va. – VDOT will close a section of Route 660 (Oxford Furnace Road) in Campbell County to through traffic on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at 7a.m. The road will remain closed until 7 p.m. to repair a cross pipe that was damaged in our recent rainstorms.
The affected section runs from Route 757 (Country Road) to Route 850 (Smokey Hollow Road). Message Boards will be placed up on Monday July 31, 2023, to provide advance notice of Wednesday's road closure. The message boards will be located at the intersection of Route 660 and Route 24 and at the intersection Route 660 and Route 662.
