Section of Route 671 (Jones Ferry Rd.) to close in Halifax County
Closure for bridge repairs and will run from 8/21/23-8/25/23
Jones Ferry Rd. detour route in Halifax County
LYNCHBURG, Va. – Motorists should expect delays due to bridge repairs on Route 671 (Jones Ferry Rd.) in Halifax County. Route 671 (Jones Ferry Road) will be temporarily closed to through traffic from Route 659 (River Road) to the intersection of Route 679 (Union Grove Road).
This closure will be from August 21 until approximately August 25, 2023. The Department of Transportation will provide adequate signs for the closure and detour of this portion of Route 671 (Jones Ferry Rd.) and will use Route 679 (Union Grove Road), to Route 681 (Union Church Road), to Route 659 (River Road), back to Route 671 (Jones Ferry Road).
