Temporary Lane Closures coming to Route 460/Route 29
Paving to be conducted on the bridges over the Norfolk Southern Railway in Lynchburg
LYNCHBURG – Motorists should expect delays due to paving on Route 460 East/Route 29 North over the Norfolk Southern Railway in Lynchburg (.9 mile east of Campbell Avenue) from 7 p.m. on Friday, July 21 to 6 a.m. on Monday, July 24. Paving operations will take place on Route 460 West/Route 29 South in that same area from 7 p.m. on Friday, July 28 to 6 a.m. on Monday, July 31.
Only one lane will be closed at a time and all work is weather-permitting. Motorists are encouraged to allow for extra travel time during the listed construction periods, or find an alternate route. The Department of Transportation will provide adequate signs for the closure.
