I-66 East in Arlington Overnight Traffic Shift April 11
Lanes shifting to right on bridge over Route 110 and George Washington Memorial Parkway ramps

ROSSLYN – The eastbound I-66 lanes on the bridge over the ramp from northbound Route 110 to westbound I-66 and the ramp from southbound George Washington Memorial Parkway to eastbound I-66/westbound Route 50 will be shifting overnight Thursday, April 11, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

Currently on eastbound I-66, two lanes get by on the median side of the bridge, which has allowed rehabilitation work to occur on the outside portion of the bridge. The eastbound lanes will shift to the right between 8:30 p.m. Thursday night, April 11 and 5 a.m. Friday morning, April 12, in order to allow rehabilitation work to proceed on the median side.

Drivers should expect delays during that timeframe Thursday night and are advised to use alternate routes.

The I-66 over Route 110 and George Washington Memorial Parkway ramps project is scheduled for completion this summer.
