Overnight Closures of Ramp from I-495 Express Lanes North to I-66 West Planned Next Week and Through September
FAIRFAX – The ramp from the northbound I-495 Express Lanes to I-66 West is scheduled to close nightly between the hours of 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. Sunday, August 18, through Friday, August 23. Nightly closures will continue through September while crews construct center bridge supports for the new Gallows Road overpass next to the Dunn Loring Metro Station. Traffic exiting the northbound I-495 Express Lanes to I-66 West will be detoured to I-66 East, exit to Route 7 (Leesburg Pike) West, make a left at the traffic signal, then stay to the right and follow signs to I-66 West.
All work is weather dependent and will be rescheduled if inclement conditions occur.
