Ramp from I-495 Express Lanes North to I-66 West Closed During Overnight Hours August 5-10
FAIRFAX – The ramp from the northbound I-495 Express Lanes to I-66 West is scheduled to close between 9:30 p.m. and 5 a.m. nightly, Monday, August 5, through Saturday, August 10. Two left lanes of I-66 West from I-495 to Gallows Road will also be closed.
Closures are needed to construct center bridge supports for the new Gallows Road bridge over I-66 and the Dunn Loring Metro Station. Traffic exiting from the northbound I-495 Express Lanes to I-66 West will be detoured to I-66 East, exit to Route 7 (Leesburg Pike) West, make a left at the traffic signal, then stay to the right to follow signs to I-66 West.
All work is weather dependent and will be rescheduled if inclement conditions occur.
