Sycamore Street Southbound at I-66 Overnight Lane Closures January 9
Full closures up to 20 minutes each during overhead sign replacement
Jan. 10 Update: Tonight's lane closures have been cancelled and will be rescheduled at a later date.
Jan. 9 Update: The lane closures have been rescheduled for 9 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10 to 5 a.m. Friday, Jan. 11 (weather permitting). Full closures up to 20 minutes each will occur between midnight and 5 a.m.
EAST FALLS CHURCH – Southbound Sycamore Street will have lane closures, including intermittent full closures, just before the I-66 overpass Wednesday night, Jan. 9 (weather permitting) for overhead dynamic message sign replacement, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
The single-lane closures will occur between 9 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9 and 5 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 10. Temporary stoppages lasting up to 20 minutes each will occur between midnight and 5 a.m.
Drivers should expect delays and are advised to use alternate routes.
