Daytime Closure of Ramp from Route 123 (Chain Bridge Road) South to I-66 East Planned for Thursday, December 10, for Paving Work
FAIRFAX – The ramp from southbound Route 123 (Chain Bridge Road) to I-66 East is scheduled to be closed during the daytime hours Thursday, December 10, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for paving work as part of the Transform 66 Outside the Beltway Project. Traffic will be directed to continue farther south for approximately 500 feet, and at the direction of a flagger, make a U-turn using the median onto Route 123 North, and then move to the right and follow signs to I-66 East.
All work is weather dependent. If inclement conditions occur, work will be rescheduled to Friday, December 11, during the same hours.
