I-66 West Manassas Safety Rest Area Truck Parking Lot to Close for Approximately Two Weeks on or about Monday, July 6
UPDATE (7/13): This work has been completed. Truck parking at the I-66 West Manassas Safety Rest Area has re-opened.
FAIRFAX – Beginning on or about Monday, July 6, the truck parking area at the Manassas Safety Rest Area West on I-66 West (Mile Marker 48) will be closed for approximately two weeks. Trucks, trailers, and other multi-axle vehicles will not be permitted to park at the rest area during this time. The rest area will remain open to passenger and other two-axle vehicles only.
The closure of the truck parking area is necessary for drainage work related to the Transform 66 Outside the Beltway Project.
All work is weather dependent, and will be rescheduled if inclement conditions occur.
