New Traffic Pattern Coming to Eastbound Edsall Road Ramp to I-395 South in Springfield Starting on or about March 19
FAIRFAX - Beginning on or about Thursday night, March 19, the eastbound Edsall Road ramp to southbound I-395 will be rerouted to eliminate a congestion point and to permit the reconfiguration of the southbound I-395/Edsall Road interchange. Drivers should be alert and watch for directional signs. Work is weather dependent and may be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather.
This change is being delivered as part of the 395 Express Lanes project. The eight-mile 395 Express Lanes opened on Nov. 17 and connect the 95 Express Lanes to Washington, D.C. Learn how the lanes work and plan your trip at www.ExpressLanes.com.
The 395 Express Lanes are a public-private partnership between the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) and Transurban. See more details on the project.
