Overnight Closures along Hirst Road in Purcellville Feb. 26-27
Drivers asked to follow posted detour during drainage repair work
PURCELLVILLE – Hirst Road between North Maple Avenue and Route 287 (Berlin Turnpike) will be closed to through traffic (weather permitting) Wednesday night, Feb. 26 and Thursday night, Feb. 27 from 9 p.m. each night to 5 a.m. the following morning for drainage repair work, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
Those needing to reach properties along Hirst Road will have access. Washington & Old Dominion Trail users will not be impacted by this work.
Through traffic will be detoured via North Maple Avenue, Main Street (Route 7 Business) and Route 287 back to Hirst Road.
