Route 7 Bypass Eastbound Nighttime Bridge Work in Leesburg August 20, 23-27
Single-lane closures during repairs
LEESBURG – The eastbound Route 7 Bypass bridge over Route 15/Business Route 15 (South King Street) will have nighttime single-lane closures (weather permitting) Thursday night, Aug. 20, and Sunday night, Aug. 23 through Thursday night, Aug. 27 for bridge repair work, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
The work will occur according to the following schedule:
- Left Lane Closed: 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 20 to 5 a.m. Friday, Aug. 21.
- Right Lane Closed: Sunday night, Aug. 23 through Thursday night, Aug. 27 from 8 each night to 5 the following morning.
Drivers can expect delays and are advised to use alternate routes.
