Traffic Stoppages Planned Next Tuesday and Wednesday Nights on I-66 East and West at Jermantown Road for Utility Work
FAIRFAX – Traffic stoppages are planned for I-66 East and West on Tuesday, Jan. 28, and Wednesday, Jan. 29, between the hours of 11 p.m. and 4 a.m., so that Dominion Energy can remove overhead lines at Jermantown Road. Each night there will be three full stoppages of 20 minutes each in both directions of I-66 simultaneously to accommodate this work, which is needed for the Transform 66 Outside the Beltway Project.
All work is weather dependent. Should inclement conditions occur, work will be rescheduled for Thursday night, Jan. 30, during the same hours.
